Presents the science involved in development of grassland forages, covers practical aspects of tropical forage use, and examines the role of tropical forages from economic, land use, and environmental perspectives.
Sotomayor-Rios is affiliated with the College of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico. Pitman teaches at the Louisiana State University Agricultural Center.
